This was my only Black Friday sale buy. I technically bought it during the weekend sales but still. Newly released hardcover 50% off and an extra 10% off with membership. Only paid $8.99 for it! What a steal!!! I'm really excited to read this! I was so surprised with how much I actually enjoyed Renegades, so I'm looking forward to seeing the next part of this story!

So I received both of these lovely ARC's this week from Scholastic. Thank you so much! Both of these have LGBTQ+ rep. And both have over 4 stars on goodreads. I'm really excited to dive into these!

Ok guys, so its been another uneventful reading week. I'm sorry. I've been struggling guys. It's just been a rough week for me. I really struggle with depression and it's just been present full force this week. I've just had no motivation to read or write any blog posts. Depression is really rough guys. We even decorated for Christmas this week and I'm just not feeling it right now. I mean, don't get me wrong, we have a very pretty tree. Just not feeling festive right now. And on top of that, I feel like I'm getting sick. So it's just been rough.

On the bright side, Ana's party is on Sunday and her actual birthday is Tuesday! So that's something to be happy about right? It should be fun. And I'm gonna get the 2019 Dystopia Reading Challenge Sign-Ups up either this weekend or early this week. I'll add links to it for those interested if I get it up this weekend! Making the sign-up post isn't super labor intensive, so even though I'm not feeling writing many posts at the minute, its something I can get up without much heavy thought.

Love à la Mode
Author: Stephanie Kate Strohm
Publisher: Disney-Hyperion
Publication Date: November 27, 2018

Take two American teen chefs, add one heaping cup of Paris, toss in a pinch of romance, and stir. . . .

Rosie Radeke firmly believes that happiness can be found at the bottom of a mixing bowl. But she never expected that she, a random nobody from East Liberty, Ohio, would be accepted to celebrity chef Denis Laurent's school in Paris, the most prestigious cooking program for teens in the entire world. Life in Paris, however, isn't all cream puffs and crepes. Faced with a challenging curriculum and a nightmare professor, Rosie begins to doubt her dishes.

Henry Yi grew up in his dad's restaurant in Chicago, and his lifelong love affair with food landed him a coveted spot in Chef Laurent's school. He quickly connects with Rosie, but academic pressure from home and his jealousy over Rosie's growing friendship with gorgeous bad-boy baker Bodie Tal makes Henry lash out and push his dream girl away.

Desperate to prove themselves, Rosie and Henry cook like never before while sparks fly between them. But as they reach their breaking points, they wonder whether they have what it takes to become real chefs.

Perfect for lovers of Chopped Teen Tournament and Kids Baking Championship, as well as anyone who dreams of a romantic trip to France, Love la Mode follows Rosie and Henry as they fall in love with food, with Paris, and ultimately, with each other.

No New Books This Week!

So yeah. Not much on the blog again this week. I'm sorry guys. Things got soo busy prepping for Thanksgiving. But on the bright-side, I did finish a book! I just haven't had a chance to write the review for it. I finished Journey to the Black City by Keith Mueller. And it was really interesting. It had such a unique mix of things in the story. My review for it will be up this week!

Like I mentioned. Lots of prep for Thanksgiving this week. But it was a fantastic holiday. Ana had so much fun helping me and James both make pies. And we determined Ana apparently likes her Turkey with a side of ranch to dip it in. This child and dipping things in ranch people. But it was a great day. Ana had a lot of fun hanging out with my sister (her aunt).

I also finished the graphics for the 2019 Dystopia Reading Challenge. Now I'm working on finishing up the bingo sheet and then I think we'll be set. I'm so excited. James helped me pick out a wonderful graphic and I think the colors I picked to go with it are fantastic.

It's gonna be another fun filled week. Ana's birthday party is gonna be next weekend. So I gotta get things ready for that. We also gotta get our lease renewed this week. And potentially decide on a streaming service for tv. Our Comcast bill is like 200 as it is now and they have plans ot increase prices again next year. Just nope. We're flat out gonna drop the cable. We have to keep the internet since they still have the fastest in our area, but dropping the cable would drop the bill to under 100. Which would be nice. We're currently looking between Sling and DirecTV Now. Any of you have any suggestions or opinions on either? I'd love to hear them if you do!

Five Feet Apart
Author: Rachael Lippincott
Publisher: Simon & Schuster BYR
Publication Date: November 20, 2018

Soon to be a major motion picture in March 2019!

In this moving story that’s perfect for fans of John Green’s The Fault in Our Stars, two teens fall in love with just one minor complication—they can’t get within five feet of each other without risking their lives.

Can you love someone you can never touch?

Stella Grant likes to be in control—even though her totally out of control lungs have sent her in and out of the hospital most of her life. At this point, what Stella needs to control most is keeping herself away from anyone or anything that might pass along an infection and jeopardize the possibility of a lung transplant. Six feet apart. No exceptions.

The only thing Will Newman wants to be in control of is getting out of this hospital. He couldn’t care less about his treatments, or a fancy new clinical drug trial. Soon, he’ll turn eighteen and then he’ll be able to unplug all these machines and actually go see the world, not just its hospitals.

Will’s exactly what Stella needs to stay away from. If he so much as breathes on Stella she could lose her spot on the transplant list. Either one of them could die. The only way to stay alive is to stay apart. But suddenly six feet doesn’t feel like safety. It feels like punishment.

What if they could steal back just a little bit of the space their broken lungs have stolen from them? Would five feet apart really be so dangerous if it stops their hearts from breaking too?

Stacking The Shelves #126/Sunday Post #58

The Sunday Post is hosted by Kimberly @ Caffeinated Reviewer. Its a weekly post to showcase what books you got, recap the week, and talk about what will be coming up this week on the blog!

I've been very excited for this! So when we made a stop at Barnes and Noble this week I grabbed a copy! And the Barnes & Noble edition has a red cover under the dust jacket. It's beautiful! There will be pics on the blogs Instagram! Ahh. I'm so excited to get into reading this!

So I've had my eyes on this trilogy for a bit, but I'm not completely sure how I'll feel about it. So I avoided picking up copies at Barnes and Noble at full price. But I happened across these copies at the used bookstore so I decided to pick them up since it was cheaper that way. I'm hoping I'll like these though!

So I obviously didn't get much done this week. I only finished Obsession. Which was mostly enjoyable. Other than that, I've started 3 other books, but haven't got really far into any of them. I've just been a bit busy. Sorry guys.

So obviously Thanksgiving is this upcoming week. So I've been working on cleaning the apartment for company. Also making sure we got everything we needed for food and coordinating everything with our parents. Also had to make sure our health insurance got renewed this week. That is pretty important. We also went around to some stores this week getting ideas for Christmas presents.

I've also been deep at work making graphics for the 2019 Dystopia Reading Challenge. I've got a few different options so I've been working on doing some basic design on all of them and James is gonna help me choose which design to go with this weekend. I have to admit, after working on them, I do have 2 (out of 4 options) that I think are definitely front-runners. We'll see if James also happens to like my front-runners. LOL. But I'm excited! I'm tweaking a few things for the challenge for 2019 and I'm thinking about bringing Bingo back for it since I thought it was such a fun thing when Tracy hosted it. But yeah. Getting next years challenge ready is going pretty good so far. :) Be on the lookout for the sign-ups in early December! I'm really excited and I have a very varied TBR lined up for next year. I plan to have a lot more New Adult and Adult books mixed in with my YA dystopia's next year!

In other news, it's actually getting cold in AZ!!! YAY! No seriously. This is really something to be excited about. Most of the time we're still suffering with 80's & 90's in November. So I'm freaking thrilled we've been getting 60's and 70's. It actually feels like fall!!!!! :D :D :D :D Most of the time we seriously just jump from Summer to Winter. So it's a refreshing change to actually have fall this year. LOL.

Review: Obsession by Jennifer L. Armentrout

Obsession (Arum #1)
Author: Jennifer L. Armentrout
Publisher: Entangled: Embrace
Publication Date: May 31, 2013
Pages: 249
Format: Kindle/Own

This is a stand alone novel that is an adult spin-off of the Lux Series. You do not need to read a Lux book to read Obsession and vice versa.

He’s arrogant, domineering, and... To. Die. For.

Hunter is a ruthless killer. And the Department of Defense has him firmly in their grasp, which usually doesn’t chafe too badly because he gets to kill bad guys. Most of the time he enjoys his job. That is, until he’s saddled with something he’s never had to do before: protect a human from his mortal enemy.

Serena Cross didn’t believe her best friend when she claimed to have seen the son of a powerful senator turn into something... unnatural. Who would? But then she witnesses her friend’s murder at the hands of what can only be an alien, thrusting her into a world that will kill to protect their secret.

Hunter stirs Serena’s temper and her lust despite their differences. Soon he’s doing the unthinkable—breaking the rules he’s lived by, going against the government to keep Serena safe. But are the aliens and the government the biggest threats to Serena’s life… or is it Hunter?

Review: I'm really glad I finally got around to reading this! I've had it sitting on my kindle for AGES, pretty much since it's release. I'm glad I finally got to see and understand how Hunter and Serena got together, because it definitely made me curious when we dealt with them in the Lux books. So this definitely filled in some gaps for me and gave me more information about things.

So the first thing I liked was that we get a much better understanding of the Arum than is vaguely explained in the Lux series. We learn more about how exactly an Arum kills a Luxen. More about how an Arum's powers work in general and how they effect them. We also just get a good look at the Arum in general. They are absolutely made out to be the enemy in the Lux books. And they aren't all completely like that. Some of them don't go after the Luxen unless they have reason to. And a number of Arum work for the DoD to help keep the bad Luxen in line. We also learn how the Opal can work with the Arum to amplify their powers similarly to how they amplify the Luxens. Another big thing we see is how the Arum are treated WAY different than the Luxen. They were never offered the chance to go to school or get high powered jobs like the Luxen. They are looked at as below the Luxen and only as killers. It shows the drastic differences even extend to aliens.

I also thought the whole backstory that brought Hunter and Serena together was interesting. I do wish we had more of the story that focused on that though. Serena ends up under Hunters protection after her best friend Mel overhears a conversation the Luxen were having and gets murdered for it. Turns out, that little thing she overhears is actually the code name for a certain invasion we see in Opposition. So obviously the Luxen wanted to take out Mel and then Serena when they find out she was told about things. Hunter is supposed to find out what Serena knows since the DoD doesn't know what this little project actually is at first. Eventually Serena and Hunter make their way back to the PO box Mel had left her account of what she heard in and the Luxen are of course waiting for them. Trying to take Serena out again. But this is pretty much all regarding Mel. I thought it would have been a bit better if there was a little bit more of the actual story in there.

My biggest issue was the whole thing with Hunter and Serena themselves. Now don't get me wrong. It's a love/hate thing. I really do like them together overall. I really liked what they brought out in each other throughout the story. Especially what Serena brought out in Hunter. She taught him that it was ok for an Arum to have feelings, and not be so off-put by it. And we see a huge change in Hunter by the end because of this. However, like 70% of the story was lusting after each other and sex. Their relationship with each other literally starts because they were lusting after each other hardcore and eventually realized they had more feelings than just sexual ones. But honestly, there was just so much lusting and sexual scenes with them. While I don't have a problem with sex, the amount of sexual scenes with the two of them just completely overshadowed the rest of the story. I mean, I get this is an adult novel, but there really could have been more story than sex. This was my biggest issue overall.

Why haven't we had a sequel yet? I mean, it's labeled as #1 like there could have been more. And when it ends, it definitely leaves it open for a sequel since its before the whole invasion of the Luxen. It definitely would have been interesting if we got a sequel seeing their perspective on everything, especially knowing they were the ones who knew about it prior to it happening.

I won this from the lovely Elley @ Elley The Book Otter! I won the grand prize for #ARCtober, which was a book of my choice. So since I started Hunting Prince Dracula, I thought Escaping From Houdini would be a good choice! Thank you soooooooo much Elley!!! :)

I also got a finished hardcover edition of Muse from Hachette & Little, Brown! I was not expecting this at all so it was definitely a surprise when it showed up. But I am so thrilled I got it since I haven't had a chance to go buy a copy yet with all the books that have been coming out. And the finished edition is just gorgeous!! Thank you sooo much Hachette & Little, Brown!

I am THRILLED I got approved for this on Netgalley!! Ever since I read Sky In The Deep this year, I've had my eyes all over Viking books and this is another one with Vikings! As soon as I heard about it I knew I'd be wanting to read it and you best believe as soon as I saw it available on Netgalley I was all over that request button. I'm seriously dying to get into this. Thank you so much Netgalley & Macmillan!!

So this week I read 4 books, all the ones that have been reviewed this week. I started with A Very Large Expanse of Sea by Tahereh Mafi. And OMG, guys, that book is just absolutely amazing. It is such a powerful read and is so relevant to things even today. I HIGHLY suggest reading it if you have not yet. Then I reread Dirty Little Secret by Jennifer Echols, which I originally read in 2013 and was not having it. I 4 starred it then, but I 2 starred it now. I can definitely see a lot more of the issues with it now and I was so over them. Then I read Two Dark Reigns by Kendare Blake and it was a SOLID addition to the Three Dark Crowns series. Really enjoyed it and absolutely can't wait for the conclusion of the series after it. And I finished off this week with reading Better Off Friends by Elizabeth Eulberg. It was just middle of the line, 3 stars. It had some good parts, but then other parts were very high school. And I mean VERY. I don't have issues with high school dramaish books, but this just had WAY too much for my liking. And it wasn't even needed honestly.

It's been an interesting week. So James ended up out delivering election ads his supervisors found in abundance in a contractors vehicle between 9PM & 11:30PM on election night. Yeah. That was a very interesting night for him. His supervisors were so relieved he came in though when they called. Cuz they would have had to deliver it all themselves instead of being able to split it with him. Also, lets just say that contractor is now going to be subject to an investigation by the Postal Inspectors. Yeah, not a great move on that guys part. And apparently the contractor was also stuffing tons of mail that should have been delivered into empty slots in the box units on his route to avoid delivering it. Lets just say, I'm pretty sure this guy will get fired after the investigation. He's clearly not doing his job. And after finding out all this stuff about this contractor from his supervisors, James is seriously sitting her like "how stupid do you have to be to do that??" Like we both are trying to figure out how this guy was thinking he'd get away with all that.

So yeah. Elections week. I'm sure all of us in the US have been wound up because of it. I'm still wound up. I'm in AZ, and the senate race is still up in the air. The McSally/Sinema race still wont be called for a few more days because Pima and Maricopa county are still counting a lot of early ballots that were turned in at the polls. It's nerve-wracking. Guys, I'm going to admit I'm more of a Democrat and I'm highly hoping Sinema keeps her lead. We need change in AZ badly and we need her representing us. Here's hoping! Fun Fact: Kyrsten Sinema's mom was my high school English teacher both my Junior and Senior year.

In some other fun news. We introduced Ana to watercolor paints this week and it is absolutely her new favorite thing. She wants to paint all the time! But it's so cute and she just loves it. We're gonna have to go out this weekend and get her some more coloring books. Our used bookstores have a ton of coloring books that are watercolor paint books. They have thicker, one sided pages. We had a Moana and a Thomas & Friends one but she's already gone through almost all of those. So we gotta get some more for her.

Review: Better Off Friends by Elizabeth Eulberg

Better Off Friends
Author: Elizabeth Eulberg
Publisher: Point
Publication Date: February 25, 2014
Pages: 276
Format: eARC/NetGalley

For Macallan and Levi, it was friends at first sight. Everyone says guys and girls can't be just friends, but these two are. They hang out after school, share tons of inside jokes, their families are super close, and Levi even starts dating one of Macallan's friends. They are platonic and happy that way.

Eventually they realize they're best friends -- which wouldn't be so bad if they didn't keep getting in each other's way. Guys won't ask Macallan out because they think she's with Levi, and Levi spends too much time joking around with Macallan, and maybe not enough time with his date. They can't help but wonder . . . are they more than friends or are they better off without making it even more complicated?

From romantic comedy superstar Elizabeth Eulberg comes a fresh, fun examination of a question for the ages: Can guys and girls ever really be just friends? Or are they always one fight away from not speaking again -- and one kiss away from true love?

Review: Ok, so I wanted to enjoy this more than I did. Now don't get me wrong, I do enjoy a lot of books that tend to have some high school drama. But this was a bit much. While I very much identified my own high school self in many of these scenes, my high school self was also like "seriously, just freaking tell each other already!" Like it was too high school.

So our main characters are Macallan and Levi. Levi moves to Wisconsin and starts at Macallan's middle school. She's tasked with showing him around. She really isn't into it, but after being cold giving him the tour, she later tries to be nicer and invite him to sit with her and her friends at lunch. The two of them end up bonding over a British show they both just absolutely love. They end up becoming really great friends, best friends. I really loved the friendship. It was just so natural and free flowing. Its one of those friendships you never have to try at. Until they start having feelings for each other. And then its this stupid, angry back and forth for a good year or so because they realize they do have feelings for each other but they won't just sit down and say it. It's excuse after excuse. Oh, she can't feel that way about me, oh he has a girlfriend now that I suddenly want to tell him. Like honest to god, we could have avoided a years worth of drama in this story if they had just sat down and admitted their feelings regardless of everything instead of playing this stupid game of excuses not to tell each other. I mean, it was painfully obvious to literally everyone around them for over 2 years they liked each other. But only they seemed oblivious to that fact. I'm sorry, sure, in high school, I'd beat around the bush with admitting my feelings for a guy I liked, but for like an entire 1-2 years, no. A few weeks at most. This was really ridiculous. I literally know no one that did this for 2 years.

Then there's the friendships. Like I said, I really liked Levi and Macallan's friendship. It was so easy going. It reminded me of how things are with my fiance. It's easy going. We have jokes no one else really understands. We can talk easily to each other. It feels natural. I liked that. And I liked Macallan's friendship with Danielle too. She seemed like an overall fun, good friend, though we definitely don't see as much of her as I would have liked. But Emily. Oh my god she reminds me of friends I had. Keep this secret of me cheating because I'm confused about my feelings. Nope. I had a fair amount of friends in high school. Some that dated each other or at the least, people I knew, and then would do that. Nope. This whole thing didn't fly with me. Friends that make you keep secrets of them cheating suck. I felt for Macallan with this stuff with Emily. And then Levi's friends. They were definitely the jock type. More concerned about sports than anything. But one friend in particular went to far in pissing off Macallan and definitely got what he deserved because of it.

Honestly, this book felt really predictable to me. We knew by the end of the book Levi and Macallan would get over themselves and admit their feelings and end up together. I saw the friendship ending with Emily coming a mile away after the whole "keep my cheating a secret thing." And who didn't see Macallan and Levi having fights and issues over the whole not admitting their feelings for like 2 freaking years. That was painfully obvious.

The things I did like. We see Macallan having real grief over her mothers death. We see her struggle with it and things that remind her of her mom. We see her work on healing after it. And then we see her get to the point where it doesn't hurt so much and she can actually open up about her mom and talk about her without having panic attacks. We see her healing process over the span of 3-4 years and it really showed how people deal with loosing a loved one, especially a parent. Also, I loved her cooking. It was like once Levi's mom showed Macallan how to cook it because her way of processing her grief. And she found something that she absolutely loved to do. It really helped her in a way I don't think she ever expected. I also liked that Macallan stood up for those who had disabilities. She cares so deeply about how they are treated because of her uncle, and it was really refreshing seeing a character that stood up for them.

Review: Two Dark Reigns by Kendare Blake

Two Dark Reigns (Three Dark Crowns #3)
Author: Kendare Blake
Publisher: Harper Teen
Publication Date: September 4, 2018
Pages: 464
Format: Hardcover/Own

#1 New York Times bestselling author Kendare Blake returns with the highly anticipated third book in the Three Dark Crowns series! And while Arsinoe, Mirabella, and Katharine all have their own scores to settle, they aren’t the only queens stirring things up on Fennbirn Island.

Queen Katharine has waited her entire life to wear the crown. But now that she finally has it, the murmurs of dissent grow louder by the day. There’s also the alarming issue of whether or not her sisters are actually dead—or if they’re waiting in the wings to usurp the throne.

Mirabella and Arsinoe are alive, but in hiding on the mainland and dealing with a nightmare of their own: being visited repeatedly by a specter they think might be the fabled Blue Queen. Though she says nothing, her rotting, bony finger pointing out to sea is clear enough: return to Fennbirn.

Jules, too, is in a strange place—in disguise. And her only confidants, a war-gifted girl named Emilia and her oracle friend Mathilde, are urging her to take on a role she can’t imagine filling: a legion-cursed queen who will lead a rebel army to Katharine’s doorstep.

This is an uprising that the mysterious Blue Queen may have more to do with than anyone could have guessed—or expected.

*Spoilers if you haven't read the first two books*

Review: So this is definitely my favorite book out of the series so far. And I definitely wasn't expecting some of the things revolving around the Blue Queen. There was just so many interesting things happening with all the separate story-lines. This was not a boring book for sure!

So we get a lot of Katharine in this book. And I hate to say it, but I'm still not a big fan of hers. Yeah, I'm stubborn. But so far, despite that I do soften a little bit towards her in this book, I'm still not rooting for her. Katharine is now the Queen Crowned after Mirabella and Arsinoe escape to the mainland. But its just plagued right from the start. Questions about whether her sisters actually died, the fact that the mist is now causing a lot of problems for the island, people dying, the dead queens spirits in Katharine making her do stuff she didn't intend to do. Like I said, I softened towards her, I feel a bit like I did in Three Dark Crowns. I don't like her, but I feel bad for the things she has to deal with. She's really trying to do her best as the queen. She wants to try and bring the island together more as a people again. But all her actions are being completely overshadowed but the threat the mist is playing by killing people. And her rule is being overshadowed by the things the queens possessing her are making her do when they gain complete control of her body here and there. And its mostly the war queens. I can tell. Anytime something bad happens that Katharine herself did not want to happen, its because the war queens in her overwhelmed her and made her kill someone. I felt so bad that no matter what Katharine tries to do, something keeps overshadowing it. She may be my least favorite queen, but I do feel for her struggles in this book.

And then we get Mirabella and Arsinoe. The seem to have the least amount of story overall, theirs is pretty much a background to Katharine and Jules. Hiding on the mainland, trying to fit in around Billy's family. And while Mirabella does an ok job of it, Arsinoe being Arsinoe doesn't. We already know she's not into wearing dresses, or attending fancy tea's and stuff like that. She definitely does not want the life of a woman on the mainland. Arsinoe keeps having dreams though pointing her back to Fennbirn. She dreams of the Blue Queen through the eyes of Daphne, who comes to be close to the Blue Queen. Throughout all the dreams and visits from the Blue Queen, it becomes pretty clear the girls need to go back to Fennbirn and figure out what the Blue Queen has to do with everything. Mostly though, it's Arsinoe that figures everything out, while Mirabella pretty much just plays a side part of everything. However, they definitely weren't expecting to come back to Fennbirn to find Jules pretty much leading a rebellion.

So of course that leads to Jules. Jules is definitely the other main part of this book. Like this book primarily focuses on Katharine and Jules. Jules ends up with the War Gifted after she decided to go back to Fennbirn instead of the mainland. And they want to use her to rise against Katharine and end the reign of the triplet queens. Little do they know, Katharine already has the issue of the queens line ending. But they make her the Legion Queen. They start to spread the word and pull people towards their side and start building themselves an army. While Jules is really reluctant to become the Legion Queen, she also hates Katharine and the poisoners. So. What can you do?? But she's not only dealing with this, but the fact that her mom is having a baby, a brother to be specific. And then Katharine decides its a fun idea to get a hold of Madrigal. So it's not a fun time for Jules. She does the best she can with Emilia and Mathilde trying to help her by her side, but its definitely not easy starting a war. And then Katharine goes too far and now Jules fate is being tossed up in the air because of the effects of what Katharine did.

I really thought this whole story about the Blue Queen was so interesting. A blue queen is a rare born 4th queen that immediately becomes the Queen Crowned as she is looked at as blessed. So all the sisters before her are killed or left for dead. We see the story of Queen Illiann unfold through Arsinoe's dreams. We see pretty much all the events the girls go through happen, but without the drama of more than one queen. We see how she ends up with her King-Consort, Illiann's relationship to Daphne, the story of the mist, war. Just wow. It is said Queen Illiann created the mist to protect the island, but the story is so much bigger and deeper than that. The reason why she created the mist, and just exactly how. And the mind-blowing secret regarding the mist and who was actually the Blue Queen and had the triplets. WOW. This history story of Fennbirn really blew my mind, and planted some ideas about things. And the shocker about the only way to get rid of the mist. WOW.

So it's been said that Jules was "once a queen and may be again." (pg. 35) So how exactly is she a queen then???? She's obviously not some random rare 4th born Blue Queen. She isn't one of the sisters in disguise. So I have a theory. Since we see the story of Illiann, it makes me wonder. Only one of her sisters was truly killed (the oracle queen). We see what happens to her Elemental sister. So what happened to the Naturalist sister?? We don't know. Could she have survived somehow and Jules hails from her line?? She is an incredibly strong Naturalist, like Queen strong. Is that why? Is she somehow from a side shoot of the queens line? I don't feel like possession is an option since we already have Katharine for that. So. That's my theory about Jules. And lets just say I'm not amused with the ending. It seems like Mirabella is going to go to the capital to Katharine. Is she seriously going to side with her because of what Jules is dealing with?? If she is I'm not amused. And on top of that everyone looking at Arsinoe as if she has to die just because she'll side with Jules since they grew up like sisters. I'm sorry, Arisnoe tries so hard for everyone around her and has always been looked at like a weak, disposable person and I'm just sick of it. If Mirabella seriously just tosses aside Arsinoe for Katharine I'm gonna be upset. And if Arsinoe gets anything but a good ending I'll be upset. She deserves a decent ending for everything she is dealing with for literally everyone around her.
